In the interview conducted by the Pembe İzler Society, supported by Acıbadem Maslak Hospital and Sarıyer Municipality, successful women shared their stories of success, while doctors narrated the women's stories they witnessed. The event took place in Maslak Yasar Kemal Cultural Center and it was highly participated by a large number of people. Emotional and scientific discourses almost danced in the event, women gave the message of struggle and aversion on the day they called 'Today is the pink day'
Pembe İzler Society, aiming to raise awareness about women cancers and take care of the patients with needs, organized an event on the theme of 'When women speak, it energizes life!' The event was held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Yaşar Kemal Cultural Center in Maslak with the support of Sarıyer Municipality and Acıbadem Maslak Hospital. Women who are role models with their successful and strong positions in the world of business, art and media shared their emotions and stories that gave a path to their current position. Miniature artist and painter Gunseli Kato, businesswoman Gamze Cizreli and journalist Ebru Baki, who produce with different professions but with the energy of being a woman, while sharing their own success stories, they told their stories of being a woman, life, success, struggle, and emotion from their own frames with sincerity.
The event, which was organized under the moderation of the journalist Ismail Kucukkaya, also the leading female physicians in the field shared their experience and suggestions on the health field from the point of view of "When women speak, it energizes life!". General Surgery Specialist Professor. Dr. Cihan Uras, Gynecologic Oncology Specialist Dr. Mete Güngör, Medical Oncology Specialist Prof. Dr. Gökhan Demir, Psychiatry Specialist Prof. Dr. İrem Yaluğ Ulubil and Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist Dilek Avşar were also present at the event.
Speaking at the event, Sarıyer Mayor Şükrü Genç underlined that women and women's rights should not only be remembered on 8th March. He expressed his gratitude for the associations established for women: "It is a great thing when life is constructed on women and solutions are found their problems. This should not only be on 8th of March, but this should become a way of life."

Journalist İsmail Kucukkaya stated that he appreciated and supported the activities of the Pembe İzler Society, which was established to attract attention to female cancers; he stated "When women shares, it gives energy to life. If the woman in the house tells her dreams, desires, expectations, then the enthusiasm spreads to the members of the family first and then to the country step by step, and then the whole country gets energized. For a more energized life, women should be encouraged to speak up."
Arzu Karataş, the President of Pembe İzler Society, stated in the opening speech of the event that women never give up hope, struggle and courage. "Today is the pink day. The pink is the color of hope, a symbol of bravery and struggle. The women's color is also pink. Therefore, we hope, we will not give up fighting, being brave," she said
We need to learn to say no!
Miniature artist and painter Günseli Kato, in her highly acclaimed speech, told women that: "There was no social media in our time; we had our dreams. Current youth have social media, no dreams. They are stuck in the social media.” and she urged the women to take on their dreams. Kato, who exemplified from her own life, recommended women to express what they wanted and to say "no" without fear when necessary.
Businesswoman Gamze Cizreli, talking about how she established the brand she created from scratch, "You realize the power inside you when you have hit the bottom. I went after my dreams with the strength inside of me. Having accumulated a lot of people in my life gave me great strength beside the support of my family." Journalist Ebru Baki said "You can lose everything in life, you can lose your health. But as long as you breathe, life goes on. As long as you hold on to your dreams, embrace and believe the power which will lift you up. "

In addition to women who are successful in their field, specialist doctors who attend the event as speakers also shared their observations of the strong women they have witnessed in the fighting process with the disease.
Stating that the power to restart to live is extremely important, Psychiatry Specialist Prof. Dr. İrem Yaluğ Ulubil said "The power to start again is very important. Because life is not a straight line. It will surely fluctuate, there will certainly be a lot of ups and downs; this is the nature of this life. Again, in order to start again; our nature as women is strong. In fact, we have a superiority in this point over men." Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Specialist Dr. Dilek Avşar also tells women that "If the woman feels good, the family is happy. If the family is happy, society is happy." in the speech during which she gave a message to women about being strong

Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist Prof. Dr. Mete Güngör pointed out that such social responsibility projects are extremely important, and expressed the wish for women to live in a more free, safer world and healthier lives in the future. Prof. Dr. Cihan Uras stated that he has patients that he has been in contact with for over 20 years and women have a strong sense of leading and loyalty. Prof. Dr. Gökhan Demir said, "When women shares, science actually levels up! When women express themselves, embrace their diseases, embraced cancer; the research on the treatment of cancer has accelerated and marked a significant breakthrough.
